CELEBRATING HOUSTON LEGENDS

The Houston Sports Hall of Fame was created by the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority to honor sports legends who either made their legendary careers in Houston or call H-Town home.  Beginning in 2018, HCHSA began honoring each class both at the annual Houston Sports Awards as well as with H.O.F. Day on GreenStreet in downtown Houston.

In addition to induction ceremonies a the Houston Sports Awards, each honoree is given a bronze plaque on the Walk of Fame located in the GreenStreet area of downtown Houston, a commemorative painting by artist Opie Otterstad, a custom ring created by Fred Cuellar of Diamond Cutters International and a HOF jacket created by Knot Standard.
