What is Football Fiesta? 

Football Fiesta is a community-powered celebration designed to connect local businesses within the designated event footprint to the excitement and energy of FIFA Fan Festival™. The program transforms participating neighborhoods into vibrant extensions of the tournament atmosphere, encouraging fans to explore, interact, and celebrate together.

How do businesses sign up? 

Businesses can register by completing the interest form by May 15, 2026.

Is there a cost to participate? 

No. Football Fiesta is free to join. 

 

What type of businesses can participate and how will they be featured? 

Football Fiesta is designed to be inclusive of a wide range of local businesses. All participating businesses are encouraged to decorate, promote the celebration, and welcome fans. Promotion may vary based on participation level.

 

Fan-Facing Destinations 

​Food and beverage establishments, retail shops, and entertainment and recreational venues will be highlighted as places for fans to visit. These businesses will be highlighted as places for fans to visit before and after Fan Festival hours and throughout the tournament. These businesses are encouraged to offer themed specials or promotions to enhance the fan experience.

Promotional opportunities for these participating establishments may include:

• Listing on the official Football Fiesta webpage

• Featured placement on the interactive map within the FIFA mobile app 

• Inclusion in social media promotion

Community Supporters 

Local businesses such as professional services, medical offices, health & wellness establishments, and similar organizations are encouraged to register and participate as Football Fiesta community supporters. These businesses will be listed on the official Football Fiesta webpage and included in overall program recognition.

Community supporters are encouraged to: 

• Decorate storefronts, windows, or offices with Football Fiesta signage and décor 

• Share official digital assets online or on social media 

• Join in community-wide moments of celebration ​​

What do participating businesses receive? 

Participating businesses receive a turnkey activation package that includes: 

• Official Football Fiesta poster 

• Digital assets for social media and online promotion 

• Optional toolkit assets to be able to print custom signage 

• Mentions in FIFA Fan Festival™ messaging highlighting places to visit before and after festival hours

• Social Media Fan Contest Participation: June 11–July 19, 2026

 

When will businesses receive materials and communications? 

Timeline overview: 

• Registration period: Registration is open now! To ensure access to all Football Fiesta benefits, businesses are encouraged to register by May 15.  

• Branded assets delivered: By May 31, participants will receive their poster and digital assets via electronic toolkit.

What is required of participating businesses? 

Participation is designed to be easy. Businesses are encouraged to: 

• Display provided Football Fiesta signage 

• Use official digital assets on social media, websites or in newsletters 

• Welcome fans during the tournament

How can businesses promote themselves during Football Fiesta? 

Here are a few simple activation ideas. Please refer to the Community Toolkit for additional ideas and guidelines. 

• Host themed events 

• Offer limited-time Football Fiesta specials 

• Collaborate with other Football Fiesta businesses

Is Football Fiesta limited to establishments in the surrounding EaDo neighborhood?

Yes. Participation in Football Fiesta is limited to establishments located around the FIFA Fan Festival™ footprint with the surrounding EaDo neighborhood.

Can businesses customize their participation? 

Yes. In addition to utilizing Football Fiesta’s official branding and assets, businesses have the flexibility to customize their promotions, signage, experiences, menus, events, and décor, provided it aligns with FIFA brand guidelines.
