About Keep Houston Beautiful Day

The Sports Authority Foundation and Impact Houston 26 are teaming up with Keep Houston Beautiful and METRO for Keep Houston Beautiful Day—a citywide service initiative activating multiple locations across the community.

This annual event marks the Houston kickoff of the national Great American Cleanup and celebrates the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off. Keep Houston Beautiful Day has been a longstanding community tradition for more than 30 years, led by Keep Houston Beautiful in partnership with the Mayor of Houston and Houston City Council.
