Ring face - 120 investment grade white and black diamonds and two accent ruby round accent stones featuring the U of H logo for his tenure as the football coach for the University of Houston - ring given posthumously — one of only two posthumous honorees so far. The black background represents the night sky and is designed only in posthumously presented rings.
Right side — Cougars are the U of H mascot, and the hand gesture represents the “Cougar hand sign” — a fan symbol of support for the Cougars, and the Houston Hall of Fame logo
